GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a computer-based test that is a significant criterion for getting admission in any US university for business studies. GMAT is a standardized test that aims at checking the verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills of the applicants. The test is of 800 marks and it is necessary to score high in GMAT to get through a good US business school. The scores obtained in GMAT are valid for five years from the date of test. However, these are not included in the end score. The essays in the Verbal and Quantitative sections and are also not included in the total score.
